Studio Rates & Booking Policies
Please contact us directly to discuss the specific requirements of your project. Every project demands a unique combination of time and assets, understanding your complete creative scope allows us to provide the most accurate and cost-effective rate.
Pro-Tip: If your project requires the facility for more than a single day, booking a consecutive daily rate is significantly more cost-effective than booking hour-by-hour.
Session Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to secure and lock in any studio session (minimum 2 hours). This deposit guarantees your requested calendar dates and protects the studio against late schedule changes, allowing us to keep our baseline operational rates affordable for all artists..
Cancellation & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any session cancellation or rescheduling request. Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to secure any future studio bookings.
Payment Terms
All outstanding balances, including any media or materials used, must be paid in full at the conclusion of each session or designated block of dates. No media—including rough mixes, stems, tracking files, or master files—will be released or transferred until the entire project balance is paid in full (and bank checks, if utilized, have fully cleared).
Data Management & Backups
All audio projects are recorded digitally to high-speed storage media.
- Requested Backups: If you require Legend Music to provide automated data backup and archiving services after every session, please specify this explicitly at the time of booking.
- Client Responsibility: Clients who do not opt for dedicated studio data backup services are solely responsible for archiving and preserving their own data files via external hard drive or physical media. Legend Music assumes no technical or financial responsibility for data that is not explicitly backed up by the client.
- File Retention: At the conclusion of your active project recording timeline, all session files are permanently purged from our local hard drives after 14 days.
Studio Guests
Guests are welcome in the facility, but the primary client assumes full responsibility for the actions and conduct of all invited visitors.
- Production Note: In the interest of delivering the absolute best sonic result, we highly recommend that only the essential performing artists or band members be present during tracking. Extra guests can easily introduce distractions, leading to loss of valuable studio time and impacting the focus and performance of the artist.
Important Notices (Liability & Continuity)
- Punctuality: Sessions begin exactly at the scheduled time they are booked for, regardless of whether the client is present. Billing continues until all studio tracking functions have ceased and clients are actively preparing to exit the facility. If you have extensive personal gear or instruments to set up, please coordinate an early arrival window with us in advance.
- Media Liability: Master recordings, session files, and personal equipment left on the premises are entirely uninsured. Legend Music cannot be held liable for damages outside of our immediate control to physical media, digital files, or personal property. Any media or equipment left at the studio for over 30 days will be disposed of at the discretion of management.
- Equipment & Continuity: We meticulously maintain all of our equipment to ensure 100% operational excellence and optimal sound quality. In the highly unlikely event that a session must be delayed or cancelled due to equipment failure, technical anomalies, environmental emergencies, or any other variable outside of human control, we will work diligently to compensate clients for lost time on a case-by-case basis. In these rare circumstances, deposits are fully refundable, provided all prior baseline balances are settled.
